About AllPath

What is AllPath

AllPath is a knowledge navigation system. It is not tied to one subject, audience, or industry: the same structure can describe a discipline, a craft, a profession, or any field where knowledge builds on knowledge.

• A Universal Knowledge Map. Knowledge is modeled as nodes and relations in one shared map, so the same concept can be reused across many goals instead of being rewritten for each one.
• A Knowledge Graph. Nodes are connected by typed relations such as prerequisites, so the map records not only what exists but how one piece of knowledge depends on another.
• Universal Paths. A path is an ordered route through the map that describes what a goal requires and in what order, built from the same shared nodes rather than from scratch.
• Knowledge navigation. People arrive with a goal and leave with a route: what to take first, what each step depends on, and where it can lead next.
• Community-driven knowledge development. The map is intended to grow through contributions, so coverage and accuracy improve over time instead of depending on a single author.

How AllPath works

AllPath is built on a simple sequence: Knowledge → Paths → Navigation.

Knowledge comes first. Every concept is a node in the Knowledge Map, and each node is linked to others through typed relations. The map is the shared source of truth: it has no order of its own, only structure.

Paths come second. A Universal Path selects and orders nodes from the map to describe how a goal is reached. Because a path points back into the same nodes, improving the map improves every path that uses it.

Navigation comes third. Given a goal, AllPath finds and renders the path that leads to it, so a person can follow the route one step at a time instead of assembling it themselves.

Open and community-driven

AllPath is built in the open. Published knowledge and paths are readable by both people and software through the same public API, so other tools and builders can navigate, reuse, and build on the map.

The project is intended to develop with its community: broader coverage, better relations, and clearer paths are the direction of travel. Governance, contribution workflows, and organizational structures are not in place yet — this section describes a direction, not finished mechanisms.
